Can you cash checks addressed to a fictional person? Q. Or does that person have to be real? For instance- if you find a check in someone's posession- sent to them- but in someone's else's name- in other words- they are using or pretending to be someone else, they recieve a check- in order for them to cash it does the person/person's name have to be real? Could a check be cashed with a non valid name or any old name? This is if the con artist signs it with their name some way to get it cashed yet the person in question who it's made out to is fictional? Made out to a fictional person that is...
